Juju Alishina (author of the book “Butoh dance training”) offers an expert and introductory approach to Butoh in all its forms.

Juju Alishina offers a balanced and harmonious approach to the Butoh movement in all its forms. Considered a key figure in the third generation of Butoh, she assimilates several styles and, since 1982, has developed a personal style by working with respect for the body. She built her method from her deep and varied research into Asian dance forms and from her own authentic and living experience of the danced body.
Accessible to everyone—beginners as well as experienced dancers of all ages—her method offers not only a creative approach to dance movement but also an introduction to the aesthetics and philosophy of Butoh as a means of expression and liberation.
Juju Alishina invites readers to engage in work based on simulation and proactivity, leading them to think, imagine, invent, and create through at least a thousand hours of enriching learning. Artists, for their part, can find in this method resources to develop and strengthen their own axis of construction and consolidation within their discipline.
Very popular in Japan, the United States, and Europe, the Alishina Method has already brought together thousands of students.
