"Training with Juju is like being in a room full of mirrors( although there are none!). I can sense my body and see it thoroughly and clearly from all directions, and personally, most importantly; from within. The online classes provide the opportunity to be aware of my own body in the space without the distractions that come from having to be aware of others moving in the space with you. This has made room for whole new dimensions in my body, I can really listen to my body. The principals of the classes have made an impact that keeps on echoing in my everyday life."

"What continues to fascinate me about Juju Alishina's method is the perfect balance between physical training, which is rigorous but never overwhelming, and artistic expression of the body in movement. The teacher's expertise and professionalism have always encouraged and guided me gently, with full respect for my body and its own characteristics. What's more, you experience the moment of dancing in a completely different way from what you're used to in other traditional classes: you manage to dance without even noticing it, while making the most of the wisdom that comes from being aware of and listening to your own body. The classes are also enriched by reflections and commentaries that also help you to enter a 'different' space, one that is ancient and beneficial for both body and soul."

"The classes are very complete and well structured. They include warming up and strengthening the muscles, demonstrating Butoh dance movements and improvisation.
A truly exciting learning experience! The teacher is patient and pleasant, and gives us all the keys we need to progress. The explanations are clear. You don't feel like you're behind a screen! A great time, every time!"

"Since 2020, I have been immersed in Juju Butoh online classes, completing over 100 courses. Over the 3 years, I have gained a profound understanding of Juju's thoughts and personality, steadfastly believing in her wisdom. Each class comprises both basic and advanced training, and surprisingly, performing the same dance movements in every session has led me on a journey of profound life insights. I am deeply grateful to have encountered Juju, as she has brought a deeper understanding of life to me.
I've learned traditional Japanese dance and avant-garde Butoh, finding stimulation and fulfillment in the movement of my body and the accompanying music. Over these three years, I've embraced personal growth, symbolized by the lengthening of my hair. Learning from Juju goes beyond dance; it extends to understanding her teaching style and life philosophy, guiding me on a path of self-discovery and meditation."

"I find Juju Alishina's work extremely relatable in terms of being grounded in classical and contemporary techniques but also feels innovative and unique. I believe her physical class work is geared towards awakening intelligences in the body and mind to increase the person’s ability to express, to perform and also to live more fully or artistically."
We share with you in video different techniques of Butoh and exercises from Asia, as well as tracks and ways to improvise.
French and English subtitles are made and made available to you!
